Lionsgate has released the trailer and poster for Franco Grillothe upcoming biopic Lamborghini: the man behind the legend. Grillo plays the role of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the engineer and industrialist who created Automobili Lamborghini.
This is a very different type of role for Grillo to take on! He mostly plays in crazy action movies, but this isn’t that, and I’m curious to see him in the movie. It will give him a chance to show his true acting skills.
The film is based on a book written by Tonino, son of Lamborghini, and will focus on Lamborghini’s rivalry with Enzo Ferrari. The biopic talks about “the long life of the iconic Emilian entrepreneur: from the production of tractors (Lamborghini Tractors) at the beginning of his career, created by modifying the military vehicles of the Second World War, to the design and construction of the legendary Lamborghini cars that have outlined its legend “.
The film has long been in development since 2015 and over the years Antoni Banderas And Alec Baldwin, they were both linked to the project and were supposed to play Lamborghini and Ferrari. Eventually he landed on Grillo’s lap. He also joins him Gabriele Byrne And Mira Sorvino.
The film was written and directed by Roberto Morescoand was produced by Lady Bacardi Entertainment, who co-produced the film with Ambi Media Group and the blockchain-based social entertainment platform TaTaTu.
