BBC and Disney Branded Television have announced that the streaming rights of Doctor who have found a new home at Disney +, outside the UK and Ireland.
The goal of this is to “transform Doctor who in a global franchise for audiences in the UK and the rest of the world. “It will begin with the release of Doctor who Special 60th anniversary offers, coming November 2023. These special offers see David Tennant returning to the franchise as the Fourteenth Doctor. After Tennant played the role of the Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa will take on the role of Fifteenth Doctor.
Russell T. Daviswho has recovered Doctor who in 2005, he is returning to the series and taking on his new vision for it. To kick off this new era of Doctor Who, Disney + and the BBC have unveiled a new one Doctor who logo, inspired by the classic Doctor who logo for the 60th anniversary, seen below.
