Damiano Lewis (Billions, band of brothers) will star in a supernatural dark horror comedy titled The Radleys. The film comes from Heartbreaker director Euro Lynand is based on the Matt Haig novel.
The story follows the Radleys, “a seemingly normal family that holds a dark secret: they are vampires. They are abstainers, vampires who choose not to drink blood despite their natural cravings, but one day the truth is revealed. “
The story was developed by the British Comedy Award winner Jo Brand (To move on) and was written by Talita Stevenson (In late summer). Filming will begin in the UK in May 2023.
Producer Debbie Gray said: “I am thrilled to be working with brilliant director Euros Lyn on ‘The Radleys’, a high-level black comedy and vampire story that explores, in a darkly humorous way, desire, addiction and its power to destroy our relationships and those we love. “
Corner stones Alison Thompson And Marco Gooder added: “‘The Radleys’ is a fun and fresh take on the vampire movie and we are thrilled to partner with Euros again who brings a bold vision to this black comedy about family, morality, desire and self-destructive impulses.”
Lewis is a great actor and it looks like this will be a fun film project for him to be a part of!
