With this, the streaming service had lost millions of dollars around the world.
Having implemented a new measure in countries such as Chile, Peru and Costa Rica, Netflix implements “transfer of accounts” in Mexico”, A measure by which they can transfer their lists, games and preferences to a new account. But that doesn’t mean they won’t pay, on the contrary, they will be charged a fee for moving their configuration from someone else’s profile to their own.
What does it mean to transfer the Netflix profile?
What this new measure brings with it is this Shared accounts that transfer a profile have to pay extra if you share Netflix. This only applies when the application detects that someone outside is accessing its catalog from your profile, from a location other than the main home.
This measure does not appear to be beneficial to the company’s regular users, however, by this they intend to eliminate all those shared accounts and force, in one way or another, to pay to enjoy their content. The fee for adding a user in the “profile transfer” will be around $ 3 dollars, which is almost $ 70 pesos at the exchange rate.
