The man with the chainsaw it has been a popular manga for a while and recently launched an anime adaptation on Crunchyroll that seems to have been received with good praise. But if you like your anime dubbed in English, you’ve been banned from the party. Everything changes on October 25 at 12:30 pm PT when the English dub of The man with the chainsaw goes live on Crunchyroll.
Denji is a teenager who lives with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left, he lived a life from below while repaying his debt by collecting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his conscience fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and is revived as a “man with a chainsaw” – a man with a devil’s heart.
Furthermore, it was announced that Lindsay Seidel (The final season of Attack on Titan) will deal with Pochita’s English voice. She joins Ryan Colt Levy (My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission) like Denji, Suzie Yeung (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) like Makima, Reagan Murdock (Dragon Ball Super) like Aki, e Sarah Wiedenheft (Black clover) as Power under the direction of ADR Mike McFarland (Attack on Titan). Further voiceovers for Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Russian are in the works and dates and cast will be revealed soon.
