Dwayne Johnson has big plans for the DC Cinematic Universe: “They all cross”

Dwayne Johnson he has such a big plan he has in mind for the DC Cinematic Universe, you’d think he’s really looking for the job to lead the charge at DC Films!

As you know, Johnson did his best Black Adam film with the introduction of the Justice Society, and even fought tooth and nail for six years to get it Henry Cavill come back as Superman. According to THR, Johnson’s Superman plans include “a Black Adam versus Superman movie, a wish he has only reiterated more frequently in view of Adam. “

That’s not all though. In an interview with EstoEs COMBO, Johnson explains that his plan is to do what the fans want, and that includes all the DC characters that cross each other. He said:

“Fans will always guide you where you need to go. This is the new era I speak of in the DC Universe. And in the DC Universe – they haven’t always listened to fans in the past, but things are different. Black Adam, things are different. That is why we can introduce the JSA. Here’s why inside Black AdamSuperman, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash – they all coexist in our world.

“Black AdamThat’s not all, and Joker’It’s here, and you know, Justice League is here. In our world they all exist.

“Ideally, in my mind – it’s kind of crazy – they all cross paths. Because the fans want it. And there’s a good and creative way to understand that, they all cross.”

Johnson went on to pinpoint his Black Adam vs. Superman movie saying “someday it was going to be a big collision.” He went on to say:

“So Black Adam collides with all these characters in the DC universe, we come to the table with that open mind. If you said to me, ‘Suicide Squad?’ I say yes. ‘ ‘Justice League?’ I say yes. ‘ Give them a name, open the book. Everything. “

Johnson also recently talked about putting together a Marvel and DC crossover movie! These are all very big and ambitious plans for an actor. To execute plans like these, it would certainly help for him to be in charge of the DC Film division or have a very close relationship with the person who ends up in that leadership position.

Regardless, Johnson obviously has epic ambitious plans for DC. It will be interesting to see what happens.
