MGM just released the first trailer for I believe III. Michael B. Jordan is back in the role of Adonis Creed, and is also making his directorial debut with the film. It looks like he came out and made an amazing sequel! I really liked what I saw in this first trailer and I’m ready for the next chapter of the Creed story!
In the film, we see Creed confronting an old childhood friend, who is trying to settle scores after getting out of prison. The name of this character is Damian and it is played by him Jonathan Majors. It looks like it’s going to be an intense hellish fight!
The synopsis of the film reads:
Having dominated the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Jordan) has thrived in both his career and family life. When childhood friend and former boxing prodigy Damian (Majors) re-emerges after serving a long prison sentence, he’s eager to prove he deserves his shot in the ring. Confrontation between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must stake his future to fight Damian, a fighter who has nothing to lose.
The rest of the cast includes Tessa Thompson, Harris Wood, Florian MunteanuAnd Phylicia Rashad, as well as new cast members Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Spence Moore II, Mila Davis-KentAnd Canelo Álvarez.
