‘Sagrada familia’: the Spanish series that is already among the most viewed on Netflix

The Netflix streaming platform continues to increase its catalog of must-see productions for all tastes. Among the most popular examples we have ‘Dahmer’, ‘The Black Butterflies’ and ‘The Watcher’. And not only that, a drama series of only 8 chapters has just been released which is already positioned between the most viewed on the platform.

Its name is ‘Sagrada familia’, a series of Spanish origin created by Mexican director Manolo Caro. This director is known for works such as “Perfect Strangers”, “Someone Must Die” and “Once Upon a Time … But No More”, and the acclaimed “House of Flowers” productions which can also be seen on Netflix.

The series is aimed at an audience over the age of 16 and stars Najwa Nimri, Carla Campra, Iván Pellicer and Alba Flores. The cast is also joined by Argentines Laura Laprida and Miguel Ángel Solá. He tells us the story of Gloria, a woman who keeps a great secret and wants to start a new life. However, her plans begin to get complicated.

The story of the ‘Sagrada familia’ tells the story of a family with a secret jammer, who tries to start a new life in Madrid, but the new relationships they find start to complicate their plans and the past doesn’t stop haunting us. On tour in an atmosphere that ranges from sensual to sinister.

Gloria, played by Najwa Nimri, is a woman who lives with her baby and a woman named Aitana, in charge of taking care of him, who lives in the Fuente del Berro urbanization. In the basement of this house is hiding a boy named Abel, who lives isolated from the outside, trying to prevent the other inhabitants of the neighborhood from discovering him.

Things start to get tough when two new residents arrive in the neighborhood, Catherine and German, a couple who also hides a dark secret. The big unknown around the story is, on the one hand, what this newly arrived couple really want and, on the other, who Aitana and Abel really are.

Gloria and the other members of her family must act normally so that no one suspects their secrets. For this the protagonist becomes friends with the neighbors who are also mothers. Although she tries to go unnoticed in her daily life, her strange behavior generates doubts in the other inhabitants of the Fuente del Berro neighborhood.
