Timothy Dalton (Destiny patrol) is the latest actor to join the cast of Taylor SheridanIt’s new Yellowstone prequel series, 1923.
The show will focus on “the next two generations of the Dutton family as they struggle to survive historical drought, lawlessness and prohibition and a livestock theft epidemic; they all fought under the cloud of Montana’s Great Depression, which preceded the nation by nearly a decade. The show will also touch the end of the First World War, which took place in 1918 “.
The cast for 1923 is led by Harrison Ford And Elena Mirren. Ford will play Jacob Dutton, the head of the Yellowstone ranch and brother of James Dutton. Mirren will play Cara Dutton, Jacob’s wife.
Dalton will play Donald Whitfield, “a powerful and confident man who reeks of wealth and the lack of empathy needed to achieve it. He is intimidating and nefarious and is used to getting what he wants ”.
They are joined by James Badge Dale, Robert Patrick, Brandon Sklenar, Sebastian Roché, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, And Julia Schlaepfer.
Patrick will play Sheriff William McDowell, a friend of the Dutton family. He will be awesome in this role!
Mann will play the role of Jack Dutton, son of John Dutton Sr. and great-grandson of Jacob Dutton. He is described as “a devoted breeder who is deeply loyal to his family”.
Randolph will play Elizabeth Strafford, an “exuberant and capable young woman destined to marry into the Dutton family”. Dale will play John Dutton Sr., Jacob Dutton’s eldest grandson and right-hand man.
Shelton will play Emma Dutton, John Dutton Sr.’s respectful wife and Jack Dutton’s mother. Geraghty will play Zane, a “fiercely loyal” ranch foreman. Nieves will play Teonna Rainwater, a young woman in a government residential boarding school. Schlaepfer will play Alexandra, a British woman who meets one of the Duttons overseas.
Sklenar will play the role of Spencer Dutton, grandson of Jacob Dutton and brother of John Dutton Sr.
1923 is currently in production in Montana and will debut on Paramount + in December 2022.
