Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios are happy to celebrate the iconic’s 30th anniversary Mortal combat franchising. Since launching the original arcade game on October 8, 1992, the franchise has continued to make tons of games, animated series, and endless films. The last chapter of the series, Deadly Combat 11 sold 15 million copies while Mortal Kombat Mobile got more than 150 million downloads. Those who have mobile play should log in every day from now through October 14 for free anniversary gifts.
As part of the anniversary, a new video was released showing the different multimedia forms of the franchise over the years. Bringing together moments from the original Mortal combat game a Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Mortal combat film (1995) and the Mortal combat movie (2021) video is really fun to watch. I’ve never been great Mortal combat fans, but I also enjoyed seeing how the franchise has grown over the years. If you’re a fan, check out the video below and enjoy seeing how the absolute carnage of games has evolved over the years.
