Sydney Sweety (Euphoria, The white lotus) will act and produce another film project entitled The caregiver. Sweeney is a rising star in Hollywood and was also recently hired to star in a remake of the 1960s sci-fi movie. Barbarella.
The Guardian is a thriller that tells the story of “a young woman who takes a job as a caregiver from Craigslist and quickly discovers that her responsibilities have a much greater – and more dangerous – stakes than she could ever have imagined.”
The film will also be produced by Michele BaiaAnd Brad Fuller will also produce through their Platinum Dunes banner along with Scott Glassgold through his ground control banner. It is established at Universal Pictures.
Sweeney will soon be seen in Marvel’s Madame Web and recently wrapped production on Tony Tost’s film National anthem.
