Full trailer Netflix film adaptation of MATILDA THE MUSICAL by Roald Dahl

Netflix has released the full trailer for the film adaptation of Roald Dahl’S Matilde the Musical, which was a smash hit on Broadway. The story is based on the classic book and the story centers on “a precocious and gifted girl who uses her powers to defeat bullies, including her family and the school principal and protect her friends”.

Emma Thompson stars in the series as the tyrannical director Miss Trunchbull, and is completely unrecognizable! She is joined by the newcomer Alisha Weir like the book-loving heroine Matilda, Lashana Lynch (There is no time to die) like kind teacher Miss Honey, and Stephen Graham And Andrea Riseborough like Matilda’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood, money-hungry and superficial.

The film was directed by Matteo Warco, who also directed the Tony and Olivier Award-winning Broadway musical.
