The Star Wars Prequel movies have been a big point of contention among old-school fans for years for a variety of reasons. One of them was the general antipathy to the character Jar Jar Binks, which most people have now come close to, but it took a couple of decades, and the worst impacted the actor who played the character. Ahmed better.
The actor has spoken openly about his struggles with depression and anxiety over the hatred he received afterwardStar Wars. Fans have been working hard to show him love over the past few years, so we’ve all come a long way. But Best announced that he had written a one-man show completely telling his version of the story of him.
“I think it’s time for my version of how it all turned out,” said Best on Twittersharing a photo of his computer screen, on which the script cover reads “Untitled One Man Show by Ahmed Best”.
