Jamie Lee Curtis is known for so many fantastic movies, her most popular is probably the Halloween franchise, which has seen sequels over the past four decades. But Curtis is looking to revisit another of his movie roles, hoping for a second Strange Friday with Disney. Curtis made the first film in 2003, opposite Lindsay Lohan. This was a remake of another Disney classic from the 70s and its updated story impressed young fans.
Lohan has taken a long hiatus from acting, but now that she is returning to making films with her upcoming Netflix deal, Curtis considered whether she would like to pair up with the actress again when asked this week on The View (via / Movie).
She said:
“I’ve already written to Disney … I’ll be 64 in a month, soon. My point is, creatively, I’m completely open. So Lindsay Lohan and I are back on ‘Freaky Friday?’ She was alone in a Christmas movie, she got married. It’s okay. Bring it! Let me be the grandmother! Let me be the old grandma changing places. Then Lindsay can be the sexy grandma who is still happy with Marco Harmon in any way you’d be happy with Mark Harmon. “
Curtis immediately apologized Pam DawberHarmon’s wife, for her joke at Harmon’s expense, and added:
“And simply, I’d love to see Lindsay being the sexy grandma, and I’d love to see myself try dealing with little kids today. I want to be a helicopter parent in today’s world, like an old lady.”
Honestly I’d like to see this. I love both of these actresses and I think it would be a fun new version of the story. Would you look a Strange Friday 2 with Lohan and Curtis?
