Apple TV + shared the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Christmas comedy Humorous. The film is inspired by the classic Charles Dicken classic A Christmas carolis starry Ryan Reynolds And Will Ferrelland it looks like a lot of fun!
We have seen many different adaptations of the story over the years and one of my favorite comic versions was that of Billy Murray. Banged. But, Humorous one seems to offer a funny comedy and I can’t wait to watch it! Oh, I should also mention that this is going to be a musical and is described as a “sweet and spicy Christmas treat”.
Here is the synopsis:
Every Christmas Eve, the ghost of the Christmas present (Will Ferrell) selects a dark soul who must be reformed by the visit of three spirits. But this season he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Ryan Reynolds) turns the tide on his ghostly host until Present finds himself reexamining his past, present and future. For the first time ever, “A Christmas Carol” is told from the perspective of ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale.
The film comes from daddy’s house And Instant family director Sean Anders and is also the protagonist Octavia Spencer, Sunita Mani, Patrick Page, Joe Tippett, Marlow BarkleyAnd Jen Tullock.
Humorous will be released in select theaters on November 11, 2022, before becoming available to stream exclusively on Apple TV + on November 18, 2022.
