It seems Tom Cruise will become the first civilian to take a spacewalk outside the International Space Station when he launches into space to shoot the new action movie with the director Doug Liman.
Of course, Cruise will take a walk in space! I just thought he was going to fly the shuttle too. The head of Universal Pictures, Donna Langleyteased him during a recent BBC interview and said:
“Tom Cruise is taking us into space. He is taking the world into space. That’s the plan. We have a big project under development with Tom, who contemplates doing just that. Bring a rocket to the space station and fire and hopefully be the first civilian to take a spacewalk out of the space station. “
Langley went on to say that the film “actually [mostly] takes place on Earth, and then the character must go to space to save the day. He then describes Cruise’s character as “an unfortunate boy who is in the position of being the only person who could save the Earth”.
It looks like it’s going pretty wild, and the studio will cost around $ 200 million to bring it to life. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Liman and Cruise, who previously collaborated on films such as Edge of tomorrow And American factthey are working with both NASA and Elon Musk’s SpaceX company to make this happen.
