Millennium Media shared a first image for its upcoming big screen adaptation of Sonja Rossa, and this is Matilde Lutz (Vendetta) looking tough in the title role! I was actually thrilled with this film and I love that Lutz was cast in the film. She could be really good at the role. I loved her in the movie Vendetta.
MJ Bassett (Solomon Kane, Silent Hill: Revelation) directs the film and is also the protagonist Wallis day (Sex / Life, Batwoman) like Annisia and Robert Sheehan (The Umbrella Academy, Misfits) like Draygan. Other cast members include Michele Bisping (xXx: The Return of Xander Cage) like Falco, Martyn Ford like General Karlak (F9: The Fast Saga, final score), Elisa Matengu (Thor: Love and thunder) like Amarak, Manal El Feitury (Red code) such as Ayala, e Katrina Durden (Doctor Strange, Shadow and Bone) like Saevo.
The screenplay was written by Joey Soloway (Transparent) And Tasha Huo (from Netflix tomb Raider). Principal filming is currently underway at Bulgarian Nu Boyana Studio, with further filming at Greek Nu Boyana Studio later this month.
Sonja Rossa was created by Robert E. Howard and adapted from Roy Thomas.
