In the absence of reaching the theaters “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, “Thor: Love and Thunder” is the latest film released in theaters by Marvel Studios. The fourth installment of the God of Thunder has awakened very mixed feelings in the audience, from those who consider it Thor’s best adventure, to those who call it by far the character’s worst. If anyone has been able to cause this great split of opinion, it is the mastermind behind the project, Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok”; “Jojo Rabbit”). The director and writer of “Love And Thunder” reflected in it his casual style and his characteristic humor, a touch that not everyone likes.
It’s been three months since the premiere of the film in theaters, so the ban on talking about spoilers has already been opened. The last to dare to share the details of the project was Andy Park, head of the visual development team at Marvel Studios. Through his nets, Park revealed a conceptual art he made of Hercules, a character who debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the first post-credits scene from “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
Hercules Hercules! Roy Kent’s concept as the iconic Hercules from the minds of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee was so surreal! Can’t wait to see him properly clash in the MCU with … whoever he wants! #Hercules #thorloveandtuono #character design #Brettgoldstein pic.twitter.com/vDhiyPaAJq

Although it is not known if he will continue to play it in the future, Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent in the ‘Ted Lasso’ series) was chosen to give life to one of the most famous heroes in Greek mythology and also a Marvel Comics character since 1965. The concept artist shared his excitement by posting the image: “Imagining Roy Kent as the legendary Hercules from the pages of Marvel Comics and the minds of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee was an honor. Can’t wait to see him face off in the MCU … whoever he likes!”
And is that Park is not the only enthusiastic about the future of the character, a large number of fans want to see him again in the UCM as soon as possible. The first post-credits scene of “Thor: Love And Thunder” showed us how Zeus (Russell Crowe), tired of superheroes, talks to his son Hercules to chase them. In the movie it’s the same Thor who angers Zeus, so this, added to the adventures both characters share in the comics, makes us speculate about a confrontation between the God of Thunder and Hercules in a new unconfirmed installment of Thor. But Neither Marvel Studios nor Disney have revealed where we will see the Greek hero again.

Brett Goldstein said in an interview for Comicbook that Marvel Studios had told him just two weeks before filming that the role was his. The actor revealed that it was difficult to get in shape in such a short time, but that’s the moment he found out started doing 400 push-ups a day be as physically faithful as possible to Hercules.
‘Thor: Love And Thunder’: hit at the box office and on Disney Plus
Thor’s popularity is among the highest of any other current MCU character. With 760 million dollars grossed at the world box office, Marvel Studios have secured another financial success that opens the door to a possible fifth installment. Its good numbers are not left alone in theaters, as the reception the film has had on Disney Plus has been enormous. During the first four days of release on the platform, “Thor: Love And Thunder” was spawned. 1.5 billion minutes watched likewise in the United States, according to Nielsen.
