Last weekend at New York Comic-Con, we took our first look at the AMC spin-off series, The Walking Dead: The Dead City (previously titled Isle of the Dead), which is the story to follow Lauren Cohanit’s Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan on their trip to New York. Friday night lights actor Gaius Charles is also in the cast of Dead City.
The series is broadcast by Eli Jorne (Wilfred, Son of Zorn), and is scheduled to debut in April next year. The first season of six episodes of Dead City has been shooting in neighboring New Jersey in recent weeks.
