Vertigo Releasing has released a trailer for its upcoming psychological horror thriller titled Walnut. This film seems to tell a dark, haunting and disturbing story and has an outstanding cast led by Eva Green And Marco Forte.
The story follows a talented stylist (Green) who suffers from “a mysterious disease that perplexes her doctors and frustrates her husband (Strong). Help comes as a surprise in the form of Diana, a Filipino caregiver (Chai Fonacier) who uses traditional folk healing to reveal a horrible truth.
What is the horrible truth !? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but this definitely looks like a well-made movie that tells a powerful story that might be worth watching if you’re into horror movies.
The film was directed Lorcan Finnegan (Nameless And Vivarium), and is also the protagonist Billie Gadsdon, Cathy BeltonAnd Chai Fonacier.
RLJE Films and Shudder will release the film in select US theaters on November 4, 2022, then on VOD / Digital starting November 22.
