The power of the fans who showed off with the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement to make it possible for Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” to be released on HBO Max, could not have the same effect on David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad”. At its premiere, ‘suicide squad’had one of the worst receptions for a movie since DC Comics soon. A few months later, David yesterday He revealed on his networks that what was shown in theaters had been modified by Warner Bros and what he had planned was totally the result that all fans have seen.
The outrage was such that some gathered to ask Warner to release the director’s cut, inspired by what they had achieved with Zack Snyder’s “Justice League,” but the result was not the same. Now, a fan calling himself RTAyerCutSS on Twitter says he was able to see the version of ‘suicide squad’ by David Yesterdayand shared their reactions.
“I had the honor of being shown David cut yesterday [de Escuadrón Suicida] ¡Incredible 2 hours and 23 minutes! A completely different story! forget about it [que se estrenó en cines]. This film has a deeper message, “the fan said. Obviously the user hasn’t made it clear who he is or why he was the one who had access to see the film that never officially came out, however, the director himself has shared this reaction on his account.
Will David Ayer’s version of “Suicide Squad” be released?
This user claims to have been able to see the version of “Suicide Squad” thanks to direct contact with David Ayer, via messages, and to have finally accessed the director’s computer. In the same Twitter thread, the fan claimed that he can’t give a lot of details about it, but Ayer’s version is undoubtedly much more grown-up and less comical.
As to whether David Ayer’s version of “Suicide Squad” is close to premiere, the truth is that there are no official details or information from Warner about it. So, for now, it will remain on the director’s computer. Also, he mentions that Jared Leto and Cara Delevigne’s Joker characters are more “profound” and, although it lacks special effects, the film is almost done.
With this, the hope of some fans of seeing the story David Ayer originally planned for “Suicide Squad” seems to be closer than ever to reality. However, Warner’s plans don’t seem to include the possibility of launching the tape, even if it’s on HBO Max as it did with ‘Justice League’.
