Amazon Prime Video is finally releasing the supernatural horror movie Run baby run. I had the opportunity to watch this movie at Sundance three years ago, and it’s great to see it released. I liked this movie!
The story follows a hardworking single mother named Shari who has just broken free from a bad relationship and is arranged by her boss for a date with a client of hers. She is very excited for the date and he is very charming. It seems that everything is snapping between the two and it is the beginning of what seems like a wonderful relationship. That is, until she invites her to her house and tries to kill her!
This is the official synopsis:
Initially worried when her boss insists on meeting one of her most important clients, single mom Cherie is relieved and excited when she meets the charismatic Ethan. The influential businessman defies expectations and sweeps Cherie out of her feet. But at the end of the night, when the two are alone together, she reveals her true violent nature of her. Abused and terrified, she escapes to save her life, starting a relentless game of cat and mouse with a bloodthirsty assailant bent on her utter destruction. In this dark thriller on the edge of your place, Cherie finds herself in the crosshairs of an unknown and more evil conspiracy than she could ever have imagined.
In my review of the film, I said, “The film was very creative in the way the story elements introduced at the beginning of the film unfolded over the course of the film. The script and story were crisp and filled with violence, blood and gory action. So if you like that kind of thing, you’ll love the movie. “
The film was written and directed by Shana Feste and stars Ella Balinska (Charlie’s angels), Pilou Asbæk (game of Thrones), Aml Ameen (The maze runner), Dayo Okeniyi (Shades of blue) And Betsy Brandt (breaking Bad), with Clark Gregg (The Avengers) And Shohreh Aghdashloo (Star Trek Beyond, The House of Sand and Fog).
