Scream! The factory is happy to bring us Farewell, Don Glees! digitally on December 13th and on a combination of blu ray and DVD on December 27th. This is the writer / director’s first original film Atsuko Ishizuka which he had previously directed A farther place in the universe. The lively anime was screened in competition at various major film festivals. Here is the official synopsis:
The young misfits Roma, Toto and Drop are called “Don Glees”, an informal name for their adventures in the garden. One day, when the trio are accused of a nearby forest fire, they go to the woods to prove their innocence. When disaster strikes their expedition, tensions flare up among friends as they realize that growing up has taken them on completely different paths in life.
Sounds like a funny coming-of-age story. Check out the trailer below and let me know if you check this out.
