Fan of The walking dead We can’t wait to see the series come to an epic conclusion, as we also look forward to spin-offs that should bring forward some of our favorite characters. We will see the unlikely duo Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) moving to a Manhattan, New York, overrun by pedestrians; we’ll see Daryl (Norman Reedus) take off for a new adventure in Paris, France; and the most exciting story (in my opinion) will follow the Rick Grimes reunion (Andrea Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira).
It’s been more than six years since Rick disappeared from his group in the mysterious CRM helicopter with Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh). During the AMC Networks Summit in New York, the showrunner Scott M. Gimple teased that this “epic love story” reuniting Rick and Michonne takes place in a place never before seen in The walking dead Universe. “The discovery of new individual worlds is critical,” Gimple said, adding that Rick “discovered a new world” when he awoke from a coma in the pilot episode of. The walking dead. “There will be no coma,” Gimple joked about Rick / Michonne series.
The walking dead showrunner Angela Kang we noticed that the last time we saw Michonne “somewhere between” Virginia and New Jersey, she headed north and followed a large migrant caravan traveling in the same direction. It may have been the displaced survivors in Portland, Oregon, a community of 87,000 survivors targeted by Jadis and the CRM’s second chemical attack on World beyond. (That series ended with the people of The Perimeter – a smaller colony of survivors in Ithaca, New York, traveling across the country on a mission to warn Portland.)
The description of the series reads:
“This series presents an epic love story of two changed characters from a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on war. against the dead … And in the end, a war against the living. Will they be able to find each other and who were they in a different place and situation than they had ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Winners? The one without each other, are they still alive or will they find out that they too are the Walking Dead? “
I can’t wait for this series to arrive and have been thrilled to see what has happened to Rick since he left! The first season of the series, which begins with six episodes, is expected to premiere in 2023 on AMC and AMC +. Are you excited for the new spin-off series?
