When will the Star Wars parade take place?
“Star Wars”, a classic of cinema and a landmark of pop culture, will have a parade next Saturday October 15 at CDMX, at 10:00, where we will witness the “largest deployment of Galactic Empire troops ever seen in Mexico City”, organized by the 501st Legion – Mexican Garrison.
The parade, where the fans will meet, will start from Angel of Independence and will reach the Monument to the Revolutionthis as part of Training Day 2022, which, according to the organizers of the parade, is the maximum celebration of the legionaries within the Mexican territory.
On the other hand, although the event is public and anyone who can go to the celebration, only those who are part of the official clubs sponsored by Lucas Film can participate in the contingent. The parade is expected to consist of around 200 people.
The 501st Legion – Mexican Garrison, will be in charge of organizing this party for all fans. This group of Star Wars fans is the largest in the world, owning Empire costumes and armor, and their work on behalf of the Star Wars Universe was honored by George Lucas.
In 2017, the 501st Legion of Mexico held the first Star Wars parade, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, replicating it in other parts of Mexico, such as Monterrey, Nuevo León, or Campeche, Campeche. Now, the fourth event of this kind will be held in Mexico City, and the goal is to make it travel across the country.
