I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Paramount Pictures is marketing their next horror thriller Smile. It doesn’t matter where I go or what I’m doing, this Smile the film appears everywhere! They were even marketing it during the Yankees and Mets game with the actors being inserted into the crowd with big shit-eating smiles on their faces.
Either way, we have a final trailer for the movie to watch today that offers some additional creepy footage. This is the kind of horror film that will scare most audiences. It takes a lot to scare me these days because I’m a little desensitized, but it seems like a fun time.
In the film, “After witnessing a bizarre traumatic accident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) begins to experience frightening events that he cannot explain. As an overwhelming terror begins to take over her life, Rose must face her disturbing past to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.
Smile was written and directed by Parkin Fin, who is making his directorial debut. The film is also the protagonist Jessie T. Usher, Kal Penn, Rob Morgan, Kyle Gallner, Caitlin StaseyAnd Judy Reyes.
Paramount Pictures will release Smile in cinemas on September 30, 2022.
