Netflix series AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER announces 20 new cast members including George Takei and Danny Pudi

Netflix has announced the full cast of its upcoming adaptation of the live-action series of Avatar: The Ultimate Airbender and there are 20 new additions including Giorgio Takei (Star Trek) And Danny Pudi (Community). Below you will find details on the characters played by all of these actors.

Here are the actors who play the characters of the Water Tribe: “Half-tone amber (Prey, Roswell) as Princess Yue, the compassionate spiritual leader of the Northern Water Tribe; A Martinez (Cowboy Bebop, ambulance) as Pakku, the Northern Water Tribe’s veteran master of water domination and a fierce defender of their lore; Irene Bedard (Pocahontas, The tribune) as Yagoda, an empathic healer who serves as a role model for the water-dominating women of her tribe; Joel Oulette (Trickster, Ruby and the Well) as Hahn, a strong and skilled warrior with unwavering loyalty to his tribe; Nathaniel Arcand (Heartland, FBI: Most Wanted) as chief Arnook, father of Princess Yue and respected chief of their tribe; And Meegwun fair brother (The burden of truth, Mohawk Girls) as Avatar Kuruk, a previous Avatar with a haunted past.

Kingdom of Earth characters include: “Arden Cho (Track partner) as June, a tough and tough bounty hunter known for her ruthless efficiency; Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts, the best in the world) as King Bumi, the ancient and fickle ruler of the city of Omashu in the Kingdom of Earth; Danny Pudi (Community, mythical research) as the mechanist, an eccentric inventor and engineer who is doing his best to raise his son in a war-torn world; Lucian-Chauhan River (Encounter, Heartland) as Teo, the idealistic and ambitious son of the mechanist; And James Yes (Still water) as the cabbage merchant, a long-suffering vegetable seller in Omashu ”.

Takei (Star Trek) joins the spirit world by giving voice to Koh, an ancient predatory spirit. Randall Duk Kim (John Wick, Kung Fu Panda) will give voice to Wan Shi Tong, who appears in the form of a giant owl and is also known as the Spirit of Knowledge.

Previously announced cast members include Gordon Cormier like Ang, Kiaventiio like Katara, Ian Ousley like Sokka, Dallas Liu like ZukoElizabeth Yu like Azula, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee like Iroh, and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai.

The creative team behind the series includes Alberto Kim (Sleepy Hollow), who writes the series and acts as showrunner. Kim will also executive produce the show together Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberator, Michele GoiAnd Roseanne Liang. Directors of the series include Jabar RaisaniGoi and Liang.
