E3 will make its triumphant return next year. It was recently announced that the event will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 13-16, 2023. June 13-15 will be E3 Business Days for industry staff to network, hold meetings, etc. and then June 15-16 will be E3 Gamer Days where the general public is invited to try new games, get in touch with developers, content creators and more. In addition, “E3 will support and strengthen associated digital events that will take place starting June 11 and run throughout the show.” From what I can tell, it looks like the big announcements will be made via digital events with the staff more focused on dating, networking, demos, etc.
Kyle Marsden-Kish from ReedPop, the company running E3 in 2023, shared:
E3 is one of the few opportunities for the global gaming industry to come together, unite as one strong voice, and show the world what it’s creating. Our vision is to bring the industry together by re-establishing the traditional week of E3, bring back that spark and restore E3’s role as a truly magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers.
