Greek musicians Giannis Angelakas and Nikos Veliotis will reunite on stage for two evening performances at the Dora Stratou Theater on Monday 14 September and Tuesday 15 September.
The concerts are taking place as part of the F Hill Sessions festival on Philopappou Hill in Athens. The duo will present Lykoi Live, a specialized musical production combining spoken storytelling, sound exploration, and atmospheric experimentation.
Angelakas is widely regarded as a pivotal figure in modern Greek music, having spent decades as the frontman of influential rock group Trypes before establishing a celebrated career as a solo artist and poet. Veliotis is a leading Greek cellist and composer who has earned recognition for his work in experimental, ambient, and avant-garde music.
The upcoming shows reflect a longstanding friendship and creative partnership between Angelakas and Veliotis. Over several years, their collaboration has yielded multiple studio albums, artistic experiments, and joint stage appearances built around creative freedom, humor, and a shared pursuit of new expressive forms.
Atmospheric soundscapes and stage collaborators

In Lykoi Live, the pair construct an unearthly musical universe where austere, narrative interpretations intersect with unconventional song structures, designed to offer an intimate and hypnotic experience for quiet listeners.
Violinist Kalliopi Mitropoulou will perform alongside Angelakas and Veliotis on both nights. Audio engineer Kostas Vamvoukas is in charge of sound curation for the venue.
