Storm Reid (Euphoria, The Invisible Man) is set to act in James Wan-produced horror movie The nun 2, which is part of The Conjuring Universe. She will find herself facing the evil demonic Valak.
The film will be directed by Michael Chaves who was previously at the helm The Conjuring: the devil made me do it. Akela Cooper wrote the script with current revisions of Ian Goldberg And Riccardo Naing.
All we know about the sequel right now is that it will be set in the 1950s and “the nun isn’t quite as defeated as some believed.”
The first film was a prequel spin-off of The evocation 2. The story is set in a monastery in 1952 and follows a priest and a young nun as they attempt to battle the nun’s evil possessions. The film ended up being the highest-grossing episode of all films Evocation movie, which is crazy because it wasn’t the best movie in the franchise.
The nun 2 it will be released on 8 September 2023. Filming on the project will begin in October.
