Netflix has released a clip of its upcoming fantasy adventure and comedy film Sleepand emphasizes Jason Momoathe character of Flip explaining the rules of the Dream World to the young Nema (Marlow Barkley). But he has no intention of following these rules.
The film follows a young girl (Barkley), who discovers a secret map to the dream world of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw (Momoa), she embarks on an adventure in hopes of seeing her late father again. It looks like it could be a good movie! This is definitely a wild and energetic role for Momoa! The film is also the protagonist Beaufort India (Kimi), And Kyle Chandler (Godzilla vs. Kong).
Slumberland takes audiences to a magical place, a dream world where precocious Nemo (Marlow Barkley) and his eccentric partner Flip (Jason Momoa) embark on the adventure of a lifetime. After her father Peter (Kyle Chandler) is unexpectedly lost at sea, young Nemo’s idyllic existence in the Pacific Northwest is completely turned upside down when she is sent to live in town with her uncle Phillip (Chris O’Dowd), well intent but deeply embarrassed. Her new school and her new routine are challenging by day, but by night, a secret map of the fantastic world of Slumberland connects Nemo to Flip, an adorable rough outlaw who quickly becomes her partner and guide. She and Flip soon find themselves on an incredible journey through runaway dreams and nightmares, in which Nemo begins to hope that she will be reunited with her father once again.
Sleep is directed by Francesco Lorenzo (The Hunger Games, Red Sparrow). The film will be released on Netflix on November 18th.
