Kaitlyn Dever (Smart book, Sick of drugs, Ticket to heaven) stars in a fun new trailer for the original Hulu movie Rosalina, in which she plays Juliet’s cousin and Romeo’s intriguing ex-girlfriend who is trying to win him back. Dever is joined in the cast by Isabella Merced, Kyle Allen And Sean Tealewith Minni Driver And Bradley Whitford.
Here is the synopsis:
Rosaline is a fresh and comical twist on Shakespeare’s classic love story “Romeo and Juliet,” told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Dever), who is also Romeo’s recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Allen) meets Juliet (Merced) and starts chasing her, Rosaline plans to foil the famous romance and win her boyfriend back.
Rosalina was directed by Karen Maine from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter And Michael H. Weberbased on the novel When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle.
It sounds like a really funny version of the classic story, and Dever is a good comedian, I can’t wait to see her in the role. Rosalina will debut October 14 exclusively as Hulu Original in the US, Star + Original in Latin America, and Star Original on Disney + in other territories.
