Iron man star and actor nominated for an Oscar Don Cheadle (Rwanda hotels) is starting a new project with his production company, Radicle Act. They’re doing the comic Thieves Galleryfrom Hannah RoseMayin a TV series.

May wrote and created the high-concept home invasion thriller, set against the backdrop of toxic fandoms and obsessions, with drawings by Marvel’s Spiderpunk artist, Justin Massone.

Thieves Gallery follows Maisie Wade, who has just left her role as Red Rogue, a hugely popular comic book character. But when her abrupt exit from the hit TV series Red Rogue leads to her unceremonious cancellation, Maisie finds herself trapped in the same house as her by a bunch of rampant superfans. Disguised as Red Rogue’s bitter villains cosplay, these diehards want to teach Maisie a lesson. If Maisie is to survive the night, she must become the hero she has learned to despise.

May will serve as the EP and produce the series through its Weird Neighbor Productions banner alongside Cheadle, Karyn Smith-Forge and This Radicle Act.
