Nick Frost (Hot fuzz) And Lena Headey (game of Thrones) will star in a new comedy thriller entitled Svalta. The two talents have already starred together in the wrestling film Fighting with my family.
The story of Svalta follows “a family during their summer holidays on a remote island with a dark past. There they discover that a serial killer is on the loose and that, unfortunately for them, hostile locals have no interest in helping them. “
It looks like it’s going to be a fun movie, especially with the cast! The film will be directed by Steffen Haars And Flip van der Kuil (New Turbo babies, The brothers before Ho And Ron Goossens: Low budget stuntman) from a screenplay written by Frost. Filming is scheduled for next year in Finland.
Frost said in a statement: “Take a nice English family and send them on vacation to a small Swedish island full of maniacs. Simple. Not so much Walnuts In May. Another “Dice in chaos”. After working with Lena in Fighting with my family I couldn’t imagine anyone else in the world that I wanted to play Susan with. So I was absolutely thrilled when I learned that she not only had read the script, but she liked her enough to do me the great honor of saying yes and once again being my on-screen wife. “
Wayward Entertainment, Resolute Films, Film Service Finland, XYZ Films and Frost are producing.
