Paramount + has released a fantastic new behind-the-scenes featurette Sylvester Stallonethe next series on mafia crime Tulsa king. The series comes from Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, 1883, mayor of Kingstown) And Terence Winter (Empire of the waterfront), and this video offers some interesting insights into the show and the story it tells.
The featurette includes interviews with the cast and crew that talk about what we can expect from the series and also offer details on the interesting characters that fill the story.
Stallone plays New York mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi, who is forced to move to the most unlikely place: Tulsa, Oklahoma, after spending 25 years in prison after being unceremoniously exiled by his boss. The series is set in the present day and the mobster faces the surprising task of reestablishing his Italian mafia family in the modernized city of Tulsa. There, Sal meets surprising and unsuspecting characters who follow him along his unconventional path to power.
The show is also the protagonist Andrea Wild (I’m sorry), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Max Casella (The Tender Bar), Domenico Lombardozzi (The Irish), Vincenzo Piazza (Empire of the waterfront), Jay Will (The wonderful Mrs. Maisel), AC Peterson (Superman and Lois) with Garrett Hedlund (The United States versus Billie Holiday).
Tulsa king will premiere on November 13, 2022.
