In turn, Dean Morgan wanted to explain the reasons that led him to accept the job in the spin-off after more than a decade in the role of Negan in the American horror series: “If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said: ‘Absolutely not, I’m going to finish this and go.. A new adventure awaits me by doing something else ‘”. However, the actor pauses and reflects: “I think finishing ‘The Walking Dead’ and walking away would have been a noble thing for all of us. But the story was so beautiful and so worthy of being told that I couldn’t say no.. And I felt encouraged and wanted to continue. “.

What will the plot of the miniseries be?

It will be set in New York City, which has been isolated from the rest of the country for a long time.. At the start of the zombie apocalypse during the original series, the bridges collapsed and the tunnels were blown up because a large number of walkers invaded it. Now, the Big Apple has become an anarchic world full of dangers, inhabited by more than two million walkers and the few humans still alive.
