Preview of the new STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC comic series

A first preview was shared for the new Marvel Star Wars: The High Republic comic series. The first issue kicks off the new story that is part of Phase II of Star Wars: The High Republic. Written by Quarry Scott and features artwork by Ario Anindito.

These first pages of the comic come from StarWars.com and feature Jedi Vildar Mac struggling with the nightmares “caused by his youth while en route to the Holy City on Jedha. Although many visit the Pilgrim Moon in search of sanctuary and spiritual rebirth, for Mac it is an assignment, decreed by the Jedi Order … “

There is a second comic series in development titled Star Wars: The High Republic – The Bladewhich will reveal the secret story of the fan-favorite High Republic Jedi named Porter Engle, aka Blade of Bardotta.
