Charlie Cox made his big debut as Daredevil in the sixth episode of She-Hulk: lawyer, and as you know, she’s sporting a new yellow and red suit, which looks pretty awesome! This is a design that was pulled straight from the comics.
During a recent interview with Rotten tomatoes, Charlie Cox was questioned about the new dress and its color scheme. He then went on to share his experience of him seeing the dress for the first time when he went for a try.
“Yeah, so I had to go to Los Angeles for a rehearsal. And I’m in, I can tell now, I’m in, I knew I wasn’t going to wear it Spiderman, I knew this. But while we were doing Spider-Man, we were getting ready to do it She-Hulkand so I had to go to LA for a fitting and I walk in, and the dress is hanging there, but then there’s a picture, there’s a design on the wall, and it’s got gold and red, and I was like ‘ There is no way!’
“It’s funny, because when you play the character for so long, you are emotionally connected to the response from the fans. So you see something like this and it means something to you, but you know what it means, what it will mean. For example, you start to get an idea of how people will respond to this. So I saw it, and then they walked in with it, I’m like ‘Oh man, this is unreal’. “
I personally like the new dress! It seems like a lot of fans don’t like it, but I think it’s great! I assume it will be the dress she will wear in the near future Daredevil: Born again series, but we’ll just have to wait and see. You never know! Marvel loves changing their characters’ costumes with each new project.
