Brooke Burke looks prettier than ever at age 50! The fitness icon told HL how she continued to treat herself with “love and compassion” as she got older.

I think this inner dialogue really touches us. I turned 50 this year, I was able to focus on everything that no one else noticed. That’s how we are as women,” she told HL, “Being kind to ourselves and using self-compassion, love and grace. It’s really important to act. It’s easier said than done, but hopefully the way we talk to ourselves if it ever becomes a habit.”

Brooke continued: “People think it will be easy to be positive. No, you have to work on it. You need to focus on what you love, focus on your strengths, and give yourself some grace. The fitness guru advises women to train to “get out of fear” and “get you to a better place.” “Dopamine, adrenaline, vitamin D, going out – all of this, what we put into our body, how we interact with our body, how we talk to ourselves. I promise you, your head listens. Your body listens and believes everything your head says.

When it comes to staying motivated to exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle, Brooke shared some great tips she uses herself. “Have a friend system! Busy with a friend! I was home training with my girlfriend in another city and we were crazy, pushing each other to train. It really makes it fun,” she sobbed. Another option suggested by the mother of four is to set your own goals in the morning and then eliminate them, ”she said. “Take five minutes in the morning to understand,” she shared. “I think it really helps. Fitness isn’t an isolated journey, right? I say that a lot. But having someone or something holding you accountable really helps”.

Brooke also finds motivation in music and shares playlists for multiple moods and vibes in the Brooke Burke Body app. “Whether I’m working, eating or even sleeping, my music is always on. That really bothers me!” He also revealed that there are “continuous” new training programs to “engage everyone.” “There’s an attention span for fitness,” he explained. “If you’re bored, you’re done.”
