Russian doll actor Charlie Barnett is the latest actor to join the cast of the next Lucasfilm film Star Wars series The Acolyte. This will bring him together Russian doll Creator Leslye headland, who is developing the series. Barnett joins the previous cast Amanda Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lee Jung-jaeAnd Manny Jacinto.
The series is described as “a mysterious thriller that will take viewers to a galaxy of dark secrets and dark side powers emerging in the last days of the High Republic era.” The High Republic is set 200 years before the start of the Skywalker Saga.
It was previously explained that the show “specifically explores the rise of the Dark Side in those last days of the High Republic era.” It will most likely also involve some of the main Sith characters from Star Wars Legendswhich should be very interesting.
