One of my favorite episodes of The twilight zone is “Nick of Time”. He is the protagonist William Shatner and follows newlyweds Don and Pat Carter as they walk into a diner in a small town and have their fortune told from a car.
That car is the Mystic Seer and you can now own a 1: 1 scale replica that glows in the dark. I actually have one of the original props replicas that was released years ago. It is one of my favorite things that I own. It was a hard item for me to find!
This is easy to get as it is currently on pre-order on Entertainment Earth. This is one of their exclusives and will set you back $ 300. It’s a must have for any hardcore twilight zone fan.

Does he / she love me? Will I get rich? Is my future bright? ” and “1 Cent Mystic Seer” on the front. But perhaps the best is this special version They glow in the dark elements!
The Mystic Seer has a real napkin holder (napkins not included) and a lever-operated coin slot on the front that magically dispenses your “luck”! A key opens a compartment in the front so you can retrieve your coins and try again for a fortune you might like better. The Mystic Seer is a limited edition and comes with 24 fortune cards, a certificate of authenticity and premium packaging.
The Mystic Seer appears in “Nick of Time, the 1960 Episode # 43 from Season 2 of The twilight zone starring William Shatner as Don S. Carter and Patricia Breslin as Pat Carter, the newlyweds whose car breaks down in Ridgeview, Ohio. They choose to have lunch at the Busy Bee Cafe while waiting for repairs to be made, and the table they sit at has a fortune teller who answers yes or no to questions for a penny each. The superstitious Don becomes infatuated with the device’s apparent ability to predict the future, thereby threatening his marriage and his future with Pat.
As Rod Serling says in the episode’s opening narrative, “The hand belongs to Mr. Don S. Carter, a male member of a honeymoon team traveling across the Ohio countryside to New York City. In a moment, they will be subjected to a gift that most humans never get in a lifetime. For a penny, they will be able to look to the future. The time is now, the place is a little restaurant in Ridgeview, Ohio, and what this young couple does not realize is that this city is located on the outskirts of the Twilight Zone ”.
