Once again, Sony announces delays in the release dates of some of its new films, such as “Kraven the Hunter” with Aaron-Taylor Johnson and “Madame Web” with Dakota Johnson. But that’s not all bad news, as it has also confirmed the launch of some of its projects that had no launch window, at least until now.
According to the expiration information, Sony has announced new release dates for ‘Kraven the hunter’,’web lady’, the new movie of’ Karate Kid ‘, among others. The problems in the company with the launch of some of his recent projects, such as “Morbius”, caused some changes in his calendar and would be reflected in his future.
Now, ‘web lady’ with Dakota Johnson moves to February 16, 2024, months after the previously agreed date. While ‘Kraven the hunter’ will premiere on 6 October, with a delay of almost a year, since the release was scheduled for January 13. It has also been established that an as-yet-untitled Marvel movie changes its date to June 6, 2024.
Other films that have moved or confirmed release dates were “Karate Kid” for June 7, 2024, as well as “Garfield” for May 24, 2024. It is worth mentioning that this release change may not be final on the part of the company, therefore it is subject to subsequent changes, whether they anticipate some projects, or, on the contrary, delay even more.
The Sony universe of Spider-Man has been absent for a long time
The new delays in the company mean that, following the new release date of “Kraven, the Hunter”, he will leave Sony’s Spider-Man Universe without news for 18 months, following the release of “Morbius” with Jared Leto. A long absence for a film project that has barely a few recordings to its credit, but which could give rise to a new schedule for each of its titles.
