Final trailer of “Andor”: the war against the dark side begins

And the long-awaited Lucasfilm panel has arrived at D23 Expo 2022. There was no better place to show the final trailer for “Andor”the long-awaited “Rogue One” spin-off with Diego Luna and more will premiere on Disney + on September 21. An epic and powerful trailer showing that the rebellion against the Empire and the Dark Side has begun. “People are increasing”warns Maarva Andor, played by Fiona Shaw.

The preview shows that the rise of the Rebellion Against the Empire will not be easy and that, as they say, ‘you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs’. “Spies, saboteurs, assassins, assassins … We have all done terrible things in the name of the Rebellion”Cassian Andor narrates at the beginning, showing that going against the dark side will lead to a real conflict with the system. “It’s all a war”shouts Saw Gerrera, played by Forest Whitaker, who returns in this prequel.

A darker bet for the “Star Wars” universe.

“Andor” is set five years before the events of “Rogue One” and will show Cassian Andor’s journey to make a difference and become a rebel hero. On that personal journey, you can also see the rise of the Rebellion Against the Empire and how keeping watch on the Light Side of the Force will lead to something less than virtuous. Almost prophetically, Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgard) warns Andor of his decision.: “It doesn’t matter what you tell me or what you say to yourself. In the end, you will die fighting these bastards.”

This final trailer also makes it very clear that “Andor” will try to be a very different fiction from any previously seen related to “Star Wars”. Developed by Tony Gilroy, director of ‘Rogue One’, author of the screenplays for the first four episodes of the ‘Bourne’ saga (he also directed the fourth) and Oscar nominated for ‘Michael Clayton’. Furthermore, on 21 September Disney + will present a preview of three episodes of the fictionwhich delayed its launch by nearly a month, initially scheduled for August 31st.
