A new trailer was released today at D23 for the highly anticipated sequel, Hocus Pocus 2and delves into the origin story of the Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica ParkerAnd Kathy Najimy). We also take a look at some of the other new and returning cast members and have a hint about the story the sequel is telling.
The film is welcoming our favorite Salem witches, as well as Doug Jonesreturning to the role of Billy Butcherson and newcomers in history – Sam Richardson (The war of tomorrow), Hanna Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Belissa Escobedo (American horror stories), Lilia Buckingham (Dirty), Froylan Gutierrez (Teenage wolf) And Tony Hale (Vep).
The sequel follows three young women who accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters back to today’s Salem and who must team up to stop the witches and save their city.
