Get ready to celebrate Batman Day with tons of special screenings, free comics and more

DC is preparing to celebrate Batman Day around the world on September 17th. Here is the breakdown of all the announced celebrations you can expect.

Participating comic stores will offer free Batman: Hush # 1 Batman Day Specialthe seminal work of the artist Jim Lee and writer Jeph LoebAnd Batman Mystery Batman’s Day Special Edition written by Sholly Fisch and artist Cristoforo Uminga and is oriented towards the Middle Ages. There will also be a special 2002 edition Batman # 608, the first chapter of Loeb and Lee’s 12-part mystery that spans Gotham City. This is to help you get excited about the upcoming Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition hardcover to be released in October.

Apparently HBO Max has decided they care about Batman by announcing the cast of Aztec Batman: Choque De Imperios which will feature the first Mexican version of the Dark Knight against the backdrop of Mexico. The announced voice actors are Horacio Garcia Rojas (Diablero) as Yohualli (Batman / Bruce Wayne), Omar Chaparro (Film by No Manches Frida) as Yoka (The Joker) and Álvaro Death as Hernán Cortés (Two faces). During Batman Day, children and families can enjoy Batman’s first preschool series Batwheels. The show features the famous vehicles you know and love as super powerful sentient vehicles. Bam (the batmobile), Bibi (the Batgirl motorcycle), Redbird (Robin’s sports car), Batwing (the Batwing jet plane) and Buff (the bat truck) will join in the special before the official launch of the series this fall. The voice cast includes Ethan Hawke (like Batman), Jacob Bertand (like Bam the Batmobile), Gina Rodriguez (like Catwoman) and Xolo Maridueña (such as Snowy the Snowcrawler), among others.

HBO Max also launched the first season of its first original scripted podcast: Batman: The Audio Adventures. Gifted with vocal talents of Jeffrey Wright, Seth Meyers, Chris Parnell, Rosario Dawson, Bobby Moynihan, Giovanni Leguizamoand more, the podcast will bring Gotham stories to life.

In the realm of games, the free platform fighting game Multi-meeting will celebrate with an event in play. Players who complete 20 games as the Caped Crusader from September 16-19 can earn a Batman profile icon. Injustice 2 From September 13-19, Mobile will offer free daily in-game gifts and a Batman Day logo profile picture for players with a new Classic Batman Arena Invasion event starting September 16.

In North America you can enjoy a screening of Batman films in Cinemark cinemas. They will play Batman: The Mask of the Phantom (1993), Batman (1989), and Batman returns (1992). You can check the Cinemark website for details on tickets and schedules. There will also be a Batman Day marathon on TNT if you prefer to stay at home.
