HBO is bringing the heat this autumn with Taska new criminal drama with seven episodes from Brad IngelsbyThe Creator of Easttown sea. The series is interpreted Mark Ruffalo AND Ozark‘S Tom Pelphrey And it is scheduled for the first September on HBO and Stream Weekly on Max.
The first trailer was released and opens with a chilling voiceover: “There was a series of domestic invasions. At least nine houses have been affected”.
The story is set in the neighborhoods of the working class of the suburbs of Philadelphia and follows Ruffalo as an FBI agent assigned to lead a special task force aimed at a series of increasingly violent robberies.
The turning point is that one of the criminals is an apparently normal family man, played by Pelphrey, who entered a spiral of despair and crime.
The support cast includes Emilia Jones (Tail) ,, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, So Mbedu (The underground railway)Fabien Frankel (Dragon house) ,, Alison Oliver, Raúl Castillo, Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe FoxAND Martha Plimpton.
Behind the camera, Ingelsby acts as a creator, writer and showrunner, combined with executive producers and directors Jeremiah Zagar (We animals) AND Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Winning time). Ruffalo also extracts double duty as EP, with the production of Wiip and public record production.
Task It seems to be another story of slow combustion crime, emotionally resonant with a focus on the blurred lines between law and crime. Take a look at the trailer!
