‘My Policeman’: trailer for a gay romance with Harry Styles, Emma Corrin and David Dawson

Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer of its new movie ‘My Policeman’. Set in 1950s Britain, the film directed by Michael Grandage (The Book Publisher ‘) follows the lives of three young men living a thrilling story of forbidden love and social prejudice. The film will be available only on the well-known streaming platform from next November 4th.

Young cop Tom (Harry Styles), Professor Marion (Emma Corrin) and art curator Patrick (David Dawson) form this intense love triangle.. Tom is gay, but due to the social pressure of the time, he keeps his sexuality a secret and starts a relationship with Marion. However, he falls in love with Patrick and the two have a secret relationship.

The film temporarily jumps to the 1990s, where Tom is played by Linus Roache (“Batman Begins”), Marion by Gina McKee (“Notting Hill”) and Patrick by Rupert Everett (“The Name of the Rose”). ‘My Policeman’ is an adaptation, written by Ron Nyswaner, of the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts.

Harry Styles on everyone’s lips

The trailer for the new movie starring Styles arrives amidst the turmoil formed by his alleged “spitting” on Chris Pine (“Wonder Woman”) during the premiere of “Don’t Worry, Darling”. During the last Venice Film Festival, Olivia Wilde’s film was one of the most discussed for the incident with the singer. However, the event was denied by Pine’s rep in the past few hours. “Don’t Worry Dear” will be out in theaters on September 23rdand will allow us to see Styles on the big screen before he arrives in our homes with ‘My Policeman’.
