Paramount + has released a new trailer for Sylvester Stallonethe next series on mafia crime Tulsa king. The series comes from Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, 1883, mayor of Kingstown) And Terence Winter (Empire of the waterfront), and it looks like it’s going to be a damn great show!
Stallone plays New York mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi, and this is a fantastic character to face! When he talked about his time with him and his work on the show, he said that he “enjoyed himself so much” and that he “never worked so hard” in his life. He went on to say, “What we invented is something extraordinary and life-changing for me.”
The story follows the Italian mobster from New York City who is forced to move to the most unlikely place: Tulsa, Oklahoma, after spending 25 years in prison after being unceremoniously exiled by his boss. The series is set in the present day and the mobster faces the surprising task of reestablishing his Italian mafia family in the modernized city of Tulsa. There, Sal meets surprising and unsuspecting characters who follow him along his unconventional path to power.
The show is also the protagonist Andrea Wild (I’m sorry), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Max Casella (The Tender Bar), Domenico Lombardozzi (The Irish), Vincenzo Piazza (Empire of the waterfront), Jay Will (The wonderful Mrs. Maisel), AC Peterson (Superman and Lois) with Garrett Hedlund (The United States versus Billie Holiday).
