Disney + released a clip from the director Robert Zemeckisnext remake of Pinocchio, titled “Stop Telling Those Losers.” The clip features a scene where Jiminy Cricket is talking to the wooden boy as he is trapped in his cage. During that conversation, Pinocchio I just can’t stop telling lies.
This film almost feels like a shot-for-shot remake of the original movie, but with updated CGI technology mixed with live-action. I love the original animated film and this remake is not going to be as good. But I’ll watch it.
The film is a “retelling of the beloved story of a wooden puppet who embarks on an exciting adventure to become a real boy. Tom Hanks plays Geppetto, the wood carver who builds and treats Pinocchio (Ainsworth) as if he were his own son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt it’s Jiminy Cricket, who serves as Pinocchio’s guide as well as his “conscience”; Cinzia Erivo it is the Blue Fairy; Keegan-Michael Key John is “honest”; Lorena Bracco is Sofia the seagull, a new character, and Luca Evans è The coachman. There are also in the cast Kyanne Lamaya like Fabiana and Jaquita Ta’Le like his puppet Sabina, Joseph Battiston such as Stromboli and Lewin Lloyd like Lampwick.
The film will premiere on Disney + Day on September 8. Watch the clip below and tell us what you think!
