Cobra Kai is heading into its fifth season this week, and while all of us fans have loved every season of the show, one wonders how many seasons the show will take to tell its story. We would be happy to see the show continue for another couple of seasons, as it has strong characters and such a heart. But what could be in store according to the stars?

Last week, we reported it Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso) teased a potential “Karate Kid Cinematic Universe,” explaining that the show allowed the characters and stories to branch out in so many directions. We might see a Miyagi prequel, a Cobra Kai prequel, a sequel series of the young characters on the show now, there are really a lot of options and ways it could go.

William Zabka was asked by ComicBook where he saw the future of the starring series and joked:

“Yes, there is no ending at all, we will keep this thing for another ten seasons,” Zabka said with a laugh. “There is a game ending,” he clarified. “Everything definitely points to a place on the map. It’s a question of how many will make it, but there is definitely an ending.” He joked: “We’re going to finish the series and then I think we’re going to do a trilogy of films.”

When young cast members were asked what they thought about returning to tradition in 30 years as the Karate Kid the cast members did for Cobra Kaithey responded enthusiastically:

“Oh yeah, sure,” said Oona O’Brien. “Oh yes,” added Griffin Santopietro. “Same,” Dallas Dupree Young said. “I feel like it Cobra Kai it really shaped our careers in a completely different light and I think, you know, I have the opportunity to go back 20-30 years, I just think it would be amazing to be a part of it, “he added.” And I think we all made it. lifelong friends on this set as well, “shared O’Brien.

“It would be crazy to see everyone,” Xolo Maridueña said when asked the same question. “Yes, I’m down, I’m in,” Mary Mouser replied. “We continue to do 30 years later, again and again,” added Gianni DeCenzo. “Yes,” agreed Peyton List.

I think the show and any other projects within the universe should go on for as long as it makes sense. While there is still a story to tell, I want to watch it.

Cobra Kai The fifth season will debut on Netflix on September 9th.
